RED ACTIVITIES DAY
The event kicks off with the Red Activities Day on Monday, which allows delegates to choose between a number of activities including golf, fishing, wine tasting and horse riding. Following the activities, the official Ice Breaker will commence at 6.00pm at 1915 – Geelong and will be a Country Fair with lots of fun, networking and games for the conference delegates.

THE OFFICIAL ICE-BREAKER
To kick start the 2024 National Conference, we will have the official icebreaker dinner. The icebreaker will be a night full of fun, food and networking. Since, it is the first time in a while, we are taking the conference regional, the icebreaker theme is “Country Fair”. This will be a great opportunity for members to get to know one another in a casual and relaxed setting before diving into the conference program.
Delegates will have plenty to keep them occupied as Meyer Timber Sports will be returning with an exciting twist, a LIVE woodchop! There will also be a sommelier, tasty food stations and a chance to show off your lassoing skills.
So, dust off your cowboy boots and join us for a night of country charm!

Golf at 13th Beach

RACV’s flagship resort is a golfer’s dream – offering a renowned 27-hole composite golf course and state of the art driving range, the course is proudly home to the Australian PGA Championships and RACV Australian Ladies Masters on the Gold Coast.
The flowing waters of the Nerang River frame the Gold Course with both fresh and salt-water lakes coming into play on nine of the eighteen holes.
Surrounded by the Eastside residential precinct, the Green Course is a golfing oasis of emerald greens and hidden challenges. A testing final 9 holes combines deep bunkers with undulating greens and tight fairways.
The Blue Course combines the old and the new with the first 9 holes shaped around natural land formations with undulating greens. The final 9 holes have more generous greens and wide-open fairways, a truly majestic golfing experience.
The day will be run in the format of 4 Person Ambrose where – each player hits off the tee, the best shot is selected and all other players pick up their ball and place it, within one handspan, alongside the best ball. Each person then hits a second shot from the same spot. This process is repeated until the ball is holed.
Fishing Charter

This fishing charter offers a relaxed and enjoyable fishing experience, suitable for both seasoned anglers and beginners. The 4-hour private charter includes all essentials such as bait, tackle, and rods. Food and drinks will also be provided, including lunch on the water. Any fish caught within legal size and bag limits, will be filleted and packed on ice for you to take away.
** Please note, each participant 18 years and over will need to get a valid fishing licence from the Services Victoria app ($10 for 3 days) and show this on the day in order to participate on the charter.

Wine Tasting Tour

Experience the delights of the Geelong wine region with this carefully curated tour. We’ll delve into the heart of Australian viticulture, visiting three local wineries. Each winery has its own unique charm and specialty, providing a diverse spectrum of wines for your tasting pleasure. From aromatic whites to full-bodied reds, you’ll have the opportunity to taste the region’s finest offerings. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a scrumptious lunch, perfectly paired with a wine to enhance the culinary experience.
The tour begins at approximately 10:45am and concludes around 4:30pm, ensuring a comfortable, unhurried exploration of Geelong’s wineries.
Winery Horse Trial Ride

Are you looking for an afternoon of riding, wine tasting and wood fire pizzas? This ride is for you!
Starting at our property in Bellbrae, our winery ride includes a 90 minute ride through part of the Great Otway National Park to Moshulu Estate winery. Enjoy wine tasting and wood fire pizzas or a grazing board, followed by a 1 hour ride back through the National Park. This is for all levels of riding ability.
Please note, there are a range of sizes of horses and are limited to 7 horses for people weighing 80kg+.
Dress Code: Please ensure all riders are wearing long pants, long sleeves, and boots with a heel if you own any. Any rider arriving in unsuitable shoes will be provided with an option from our small selection – however all sizes not guaranteed.
