Celebrating the Icons

The National Conference Dinner is the grand finale of our conference event. This wonderful evening presents the perfect opportunity for delegates to unwind, reflect on the insights gained during the conference, and continue to network with industry colleagues in a relaxed and festive ambiance. 

The evening promises to be an exciting one, commencing with Pre-Dinner Drinks, an ideal platform for further discussions and connections, before we transition into the dinner where we will celebrate brighter futures and industry greats. 

The dinner will be host to our industry awards where we will recognise excellence and dedication in our industry through a selection of industry awards. This year, we are excited to introduce a new award celebrating an Industry Icon, further celebrating the achievements and innovations that make our industry great. 

To celebrate the introduction of the brand new FTMA Industry Icon Award, we’re inviting delegates to dress as an icon, someone you admire, someone who inspired you growing up, or simply someone you’ve always wanted to be.

Your icon could be a:

• Sporting legend
• Movie star
• Musician
• Historical figure
• Superhero
• Or even an industry icon

Whether you arrive as Elvis, Steve Irwin, Cathy Freeman, Maverick from Top Gun, or your favourite childhood hero, the goal is simple: have fun and embrace the theme.

During the evening we will also be holding our annual silent auction. This year’s chosen beneficiaries of the dinner’s silent auction – SunnyKids. SunnyKids are a local charity that provides essential support services to children and families experiencing domestic and family violence and hardship. Their integrated support network provides a range of life-saving services to thousands of families each year.  

 At SunnyKids they believe it takes a village to raise a child and in doing so, they work tirelessly within local communities to help educate and break the cycle of violence and hardship.  

We hope you can help us by contributing to the silent auction. Just $50 allows SunnyKids to support a child for one month, this includes essentials and access to life changing support services.
